A design competition provided the opportunity to create a fresh new logo for the New York State Economic Development Council.
The custom logotype’s rounded shape is designed to be symbolic of the inclusive nature of EDC membership. The typeface moving across the logo represents action: increasing opportunity for New York State’s businesses as well as the expansion of industry, growth, and progress. The chosen font represents a fresh and progressive approach. The color green signifies growth, wealth and prestige.
The result:
A bright, energetic, and modern logo update that represents EDC’s efforts to build vibrant, diverse, and sustainable communities throughout New York State.
